I hope someone will try to improve what have already been done. Main priority, would be to update emule version sent to make think to servers we have a recent Emule client... If you feel the courage to enter into Bourriquet source code, feel free to ask us for help, we have a good knowledge of Edonkey protocol since we have been working on it for 2 years now. But it should not be too complicated to port it to 68k or Os4... Sources are available in this package, so at your Gcc compiler ...

Why do'nt try to put it on Sourceforge so many users can improve it? However i cannot download anything atm and i have problems with listview. and, however, good work! afxgroup

Well Rusback, already tried to put bourriquet on sourceforge but his request has been rejected. try to put it on sourceforge if you can, it could be usefull for everyone. Or maybe we could find a way to share bug correction and/or improvements. I dunno exactly how
To download something, most important thing will be to find a server that will accept Bourriquet version sent. Then you should try to download small files (less than 3/4 ko max) with lot of sources since I think small files are uploaded in priority by Emule. Yesterday for example i've replaced the MD4 hash routine with asm SHA implementation that is a little bit faster. But, don't know on MOS, but on OS4 if i have an huge dir of shared file, the file examination phase is sloooow.. afxgroup

Bourriquet is already on a half public CVS server, but latest sources are not on it and you have to ask an access to the CVS owner. The file examination phase is effectively slow, the programm have to hash each files before sending file hash to servers. We didn't put this in an independant task and we don't actually save calculated hashes on hard drive. As you can see, there is lot of improvements that could be done
Could you try to put all sources on sourceforge, freshmeat or another CVS ? SixK

I'll try to put the sources this evening when i go back home. I'll put the address here. I've added __AMIGAOS4__ where the sources has been modified, but pls recompile it because it is possible i have forgot something..

I know itix is a good programmer, it's a good news for me. You can add me as user "SixK" in the project. Rusback, who already worked on Bourriquet for MUI interface + debugging + new features may join the team too... I'll tell him about this sourceforge project (if we are accepted by sourceforge admin).
