Hi,

just compiled MySqld 4.1.0 alpha for 040
this version is a major improvement since we now have sub-select )

You will need a MySqld base archive to use this update, if you don't have already MySqld installed

download at :
http://dasixk.free.fr/MySqld-4.1.0.alpha-update.lzx

please refer to the official MySql site ( http://www.mysql.com/ ) for other improvements of this version
Enjoy,
SixK

Could you compile a newer version of MySQL for m68k? I tried it myself but everytime I start to configure my system crashes.

I'll try, If I don't forget to do it
and if my 68k Gcc still work.

Which version do you need ?
A 4.1.x, 5.0.x or a 5.1.x ?

A tip to compile MySQL, skip parts of configure file that crash...
For exemple, I remember that unix PS function tests was freezing. Simply remove the test from configuration file.

Latest Version of MySQL 4.1.x would be fine for me.

Well, it seems that the sed is fault on my system. I will try to replace it with a newer version.

Thanks for the port!

Is there any chance of seeing an Apache/PHP port with MySQL v4 support?

The current one only supports v3.23.xx unfortunately.

Really few chances from myself, I don't have time anymore for ports.

I'm sorry for this
